Animation Mode logo is visible even though animation mode is turned off

If you start mosascii m2 with Animation Mode turned off you may still see the Animation Mode indicator graphic when you resize mosascii m2.
  • This is due to a visual bug in mosascii m2 version 2.1.200. (check for new version)
  • This will be fixed in the next release of mosascii m2.
  • This does not affect the functionality of mosascii m2.

Applications and web sites that use the Verdana font display incorrectly after installing MosASCII on Windows 2000

When installing MosASCII 32 Beta 5 (1.0.145) on Windows 2000 can cause the Verdana font to become corrupted in some situations.

This corruption results in applications and web sites that use Verdana to display block-like characters instead of actual letters.

Rebooting after installation may resolve this issue in some cases, but upgrading is the recommended solution.
  • This is due to font installation on Windows 2000 in MosASCII 32 Beta 5 (1.0.145) (check for new version)
  • This has been fixed as of MosASCII 32 Beta 6 (1.0.215).
  • MosASCII 32 has been discontinued and has been replaced by mosascii m2, please upgrade immediately.
  • This can affect the functionality of mosascii m2.
